New 3-story museum with a total area of 37,000 S.F. and an elaborate outdoor sculpture garden, located in Miami’s Design District. The south façade (primary) employs a trapezoidal design of textured aluminum panels which result in a contemporary art piece on its own. Deep recessed, triangular-shaped elements further add dramatic visual impact and are illuminated with lighting that changes colors for special events. The north façade is completely glazed to allow for natural light into the exhibit halls and views of the expansive sculpture garden.
An interior grand stair with art exhibition capabilities connects all 3 levels and is a focal point for patrons of the museum.
